Frequently Asked Questions
|
- I can’t find my grandfather Beals listed on your site. Do you have data on him that you haven’t published?
Answer:
- Have you tried the related family “Beal” database?
See our Home page; the link is on the lower right hand side.
- Do you know other ancestors? If so, try searching for them instead.
- If you still can’t find any members of your
family listed on our site, then we have no
other data that will help you. Note that there were several Beal/Beals/Beales
families that immigrated to The New World… we just track one
of them.
- Are you interested in having a photograph of my grandfather Beals
or other information I have that does not appear on the website?
Answer:
- Your website has genealogy for both the “Beals”
and “Beal” names and it would appear that some
of the same information is shown in both databases. Would you please clarify.
Answer:
- The “Beals” database is split into two parts: “The Progenitor” and “The Immigrant”.
The latter, which contains most of the information on this website,
deals with the descendants of Abel Beal/Beals while the former
records his ancestors. The difference between the “Progenitor” section of the
“Beals” genealogy and the separate “Beal” genealogy is that the
“Progenitor” section contains information only for the ancestral line (the
stem of the tree). The “Beal” file contains the same information but branches out to include as many as seven generations.
