Our Beals Genealogy Room
Welcome!

This virtual archive provides several documents on the Beal/Beals family of Hingham Massachusetts and Annapolis County Nova Scotia -- the progenitor of which was John Beales/Beal (1588 - 1688), who at 50 years of age left Hingham, Norfolk, England in 1638, and settled his family in Hingham, MA.

An artist's rendition of the coat of arms of an unknown British Beales/Beals/Beal.

Under British law, a coat of arms is owned by a specific individual, and may be inherited by a designated son and so on down a male line.
