This database presents the result of 25 years of research
of the Beals family and related lines. A great deal of
assistance has been given by a great many people.
Particular mention must be made of the research done
and support provided by Willis "Bill" Beals of Marlborough,
MA, Dena and Eugene Beals of North Oxford, MA, George
Washington Beals, Toronto and the compiler's mother
for encouragement given at the beginning of the project.

The Progenitor - John Beales/Beal (1588 - 1688) of Hingham MA
At 50 years of age, immigrated to the New World in 1638, just 18 years after the Mayflower landed.
The Immigrant - Abel Beal/Beals (1755 - 1830)
Founder of the Nova Scotia branch of the
family and whose descendants are now scattered all over
Canada and the USA.
